I have to play catch up since I haven't posted in over a month!

We had Bennett's b-day party on Sep 26th - can't believe my little man is 7! He had a great party and loves being the center of attention. Definitely does not get that from me! He wanted a lego Indiana Jones party and he got one! Aunt Shannon made his cake and did an awesome job.

Shannon, She-nok, She-nok a lou whoooo, nannon, Aunt Shannon - you are the best friend a person could ever want. You are the Sable to my Coco, the chex mix to my peanut butter crackers, the Shirley to my Laverne, Ethel to my Lucy. We have had more fun together than I can possibly list here and I know we will have many more good times!

ACCEPT IT - That is not to say give in and do nothing because "it is what it is" Keep Doing!
But at the same time , realize and understand that we need to love them for who they are and walk their walk not try to change them and force them to walk ours.

I have this at my desk and read it daily but it is sometimes so hard to believe in and if being on this side is hard for me I can only imagine how Caydie must feel with everyone telling her she has to be a certain way and not understanding. All I want is for her to be happy and to help her figure how to find her place. Sometimes I forget to Accept It.

Added new pics from Bennett's first day of school - he loves his new teacher ,Ms. Sherri, and is doing great so far.

The almost sleep over at Shannon's house (Caydie decided she wanted to go home) We had a great time up till that point!

We also spent the day with Shannon Saturday - Caydie got her nails painted and got to play with Hannah!

I haven't updated in a month so I have plenty to talk about!

Caydie turned 4, Mom turned 60, The kids have gone back to school, Caydie has had more appointments....

Caydie turned 4 on August 6th - which also happens to be the anniversary of my Dad's death. I really believe I had Caydie 2 weeks early on the 6th so we would have something happy to think about on the day! We had a party at home and she had a really good time. Aunt Shannon and Uncle Dan stayed up late the night before working on her cake and cupcakes! She has really come along in the past month or so and is asking a lot of questions so we are really happy with that. She has been to the dentist and the neurologist. We are scheduling a sleep study for her sometime in September so see if we can get some answers on her sleep issues. Should be interesting! She started back at the Tipton County Preschool today and I really hope she has a good day. I am hoping for a really good year with a lot of improvement! Who knows she may even start kindergarten next year.

Mom turned 60 on August 9th and we went to Arkansas for her party. The kids really love going to her house and had a great time.

And what can you say about Bennett! The kid is so funny. He is absolutely my saving grace. He can always make me laugh and is just a blast to be around. He decided not to play soccer this year and I am not sure what he will decide he wants to do but the kid always comes up with something! He is looking forward to his birthday next month. We went to have pictures made yesterday and his sister refused to take even one picture but he as usual was more than willing so I will download a few of those!
