Caydies IEP meeting went well - we have clear goals in mind for next year and I really feel like the teachers understand my concerns for Caydie and I know they will do everything they can to help her. The best part is the Preschool is moving to Austin Peay Elementary next year! Guess who else goes there??? Why Bennett of course!! So they will both be in the same school for 1/2 the day. I am excited because they can be dropped off together each morning instead of heading in different directions.

Caydie has been working really hard getting ready for her dance recital. She had pictures last Saturday and did pretty good for the first set. The recital is Saturday at 3:00 and then we are off for 2 months and I am ready. It will be nice to get up on Saturday and not have to rush around.

Bennett is trucking right along - this is his last week of Kindergarten. We have his "graduation" ceremony tomorrow morning and then we are off to PT for Caydie at 4:00. Thursday is Caydie's last day at the Tipton County Preschool the she and Bennett are both out next week. Starting June 1st they will both be going to summer camp at Learning Ladder. Caydie has a big appointment on June 11th....keep your fingers crossed!

Keep your fingers crossed for me today! I have Caydie's IEP meeting at 1:30. It would do my spirit good to hear how much progress they think she made this past year and that they will continue her same therapy schedule next year. I have so many concerns and worries for my baby so I am really hoping I can walk out of there with a smile on my face today......

Not much to report on the O'Brien front. Caydie had dance Saturday morning. They are gearing up for the recital on the 23rd. After that she is off for the summer. Bennett had the weekend off from T-ball. A good thing since it rained anyway. Mother's Day was nice and quiet - the way I like it! Chris and the kids got me a digital picture frame (I love anything with pics of the kids!!)

Bennett had a game last night. Caydie and I stayed at home since the filed was muddy and I knew what she would look like before we got home. Chris said that Bennett did really good until he decided to dance his way to first base. He proceeded to trip over his feet and when he fell he had a breath mint in his mouth that fell out - the coach at first base thought he lost a tooth and stopped the game. Needless to say Bennett was out! He is such a ham - loves to make people laugh. He also had field day at school yesterday and said he had a great time. He only has a week and a half left. He has graduation next Wednesday and I am sure it will be too cute.

Last week was a busy one for Coco and Sable. We had 11 orders for personalizes necklaces. We are having a good time and are hoping to find a craft fair that we can set up a booth at in the fall when we have more inventory. Thats all for now - I will check back in later in the week.

Yes - I have been on hiatus! hahaha

Everything is going great at the O'Brien Household. We did go the zoo the weekend before last and had a great time. I will post some pics of that. Bennett has been doing great at T-Ball. The kid got up to bat at one of the games and his team starting chanting his name which inspired him to forget about batting and proceed to give everyone his "bootie dance"! The kid is a nut. Gets that from his Father- I can tell you that!! He seems to be trying harder this year so we are proud of him. They are off this week. He had another dentist appointment Monday - which he handled like a champ - and then he and Chris went to see a movie and played Putt Putt.

Caydie is buzzing right along. We have her therapy set up for the summer and we have her IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meeting next Wednesday. Keep your fingers crossed that we are able to continue with same plan we had this year. We have decided to hold out next year so she can one more year at TCP and have more one on one time. The Tipton County Preschool has been wonderful to us and I am so thankful that the service is available! Our goal is to have Caydie ready for a regular classroom setting by the time she starts kindergarten! She is starting to pick out her own shoes to wear to school. She is taking a real interest in shoes of late. She will put mine on and walk around the house and then change into another pair of mine. When she is finished with a pair she offers them to me - you know like they weren't mine to begin with! She is really enjoying being able to be outside more with the nice weather. Aunt Shannon and I are working on a special little dress for her and I will post pics if it is presentable when we finish since this will our first try at sewing.

Chris and I celebrated out 12 year anniversary this weekend - my my how fast it goes.

We were going out of town this weekend but plans changed and now we will be at home. Maybe we will get lucky and the rain will hold out for a nice weekend. I have to get prizes ready for Caydie's family fun day at school and make some teacher's gifts as this school year is over in 2 weeks! Bennett is too excited about that.

Shannon and I are doing awesome with our little company - we had 12 orders this week! We are excited about the projects we are going to be trying in the next few weeks. Hopefully people will love them and buy everything. Here's Hoping!
